American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career by playing supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt which aired in 2007, she played reporter Willa McPherson. She also had as a character on the show that ran for just a few seasons The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the season's third. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on NBC's This Is Us. She also voiced of many characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is the main character of Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family lived in various places for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting and photography when she was 13. Breckenridge relocated to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
