Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American singer and actress whose dramatic variety earned her acclaim across a range of genres ranging from period drama to thriller and action adventure. Johansson, the daughter of an architect and producer, was born in New York City. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. When she reached seven years old, her passion for acting had grown. Her first audition was for commercials. Her interest in acting grew quickly and she enrolled soon after to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. At age eight she appeared with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry when she was nine. At that age, she made her first film appearance with Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause (1996), but it was Manny & Lo 1996 that was her breakthrough. The film tells the story of two orphaned girls who have fled to escape. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson as a teen victim of an horrific crash. Her role in Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. The award-winning actress was among the leading actors on the show. She has experience as a stage actress in addition to being in the show. She's given many of the most stunning performances, including in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her path into the world of entertainment from a young age. Acting was her passion as young. Smith's parents helped her with finding her first stage role at age six. It was a Dannon yogurt TV commercial. Similar to other novice actors in the same position the actress honed her talents in the theatre. She was involved in various USA projects while getting her stage debut in the company of Wildflower. She studied in Stonestreet Studios, the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
